The Crescent Gallery was born out of a desire to create more energy and love for art, while also drawing more people to Downtown Spartanburg by owner Andrew Babb. The space was transformed in just a few months and opened on September 18^th, 2008. Our opening coincided with the first monthly Spartanburg Art Walk, which will be occurring on the 3^rd Thursday of every month for the next year.

      We represent regional artists and their work in the genre of realism mixed with a bit of impressionism. We want to encourage people to understand and appreciate art, while creating a relationship with the artist and gallery. Many of our artists are faculty from a master school, The Fine Arts League of the Carolinas, in Asheville, North Carolina. Our artists create original fine art in many mediums ranging from oil and pastel to conté and pencil.

      We invite you to visit The Crescent Gallery anytime you are downtown, and we hope that you will make us a destination when you are passing through Spartanburg.
