Downtown Spartanburg came alive with the first Art Walk Spartanburg on September 18 from 5 to 9 p.m.  Hundreds of visitors flocked to downtown to enjoy an evening of art and culture.  In addition to Spartanburg Art Museum, Hub-Bub's Showroom and Carolina Gallery on Morgan Square, two new galleries on Main Street complete the Art Walk:  The Crescent Gallery features work in the tradition of classical realism, and Myst Gallery at 154 West Main St. features abstract, surreal and expressive art. 

Several local retail merchants are participating by extending their hours. Feel free to catch a ride on the Trolley while you are downtown; it will take you to any of the Art Walk venues.

    Art Walk Spartanburg will return every third Thursday of the month with all events being free and open to the public.  The next Art Walk will be March 19th,  from  5 to 9pm.
