Working with Duckbill studios in Decatur, the 33 year old has developed a unique, highly sought after style. Including some special commissions, such as a massive chandelier for a prominent Naples based family and a special set of dishes for award winning Chef Jamie Keating. Her unusual way of working has also caught some attention, working without assistants, Kristen juggles multiple batons, which are the actual blow pipes, with the skill of a majorette. Her work has been featured in many noted galleries as well as private collections. And recently, in a special Delta Sponsored installation, at Atlanta's Hartfield-Jackson Airport.

Kristen Malone
Twelve years ago Kristen Malone discovered her calling quite by chance when she did an old man a favor and gave him a ride home from a local pub. A glassblower, he showed her his work and from that moment she was hooked. Now based in Atlanta, she has studied her craft all over the country including some time at the legendary Pilchuck Glass School founded by Dale Chihuly and a mentorship with Kellmis Fernandez.
